Not the same great cereal

I loved Special K and used to tout it as my favorite cereal but I just can’t anymore. The flakes have become so hard that it hurts my teeth to eat. I thought maybe it was just a bad box but I’ve had several similar boxes. I hope they change it back to how it used to be.

No longer my favorite cereal

I’m not sure what has happened to this product! I too have experienced very hard pieces that I need to remove from my mouth so I do not break my teeth. The box I just opened all the flakes were hard- edible but not like Special K was previously. Also had to remove individual hard pieces again. I guess it will be a new cereal for me.

Rock like pieces - Gets stuck in Teeth

I have been eating this cereal for over 15 years at least and just recently, I have been encountering rock like pieces in the cereal that get stuck in my teeth. I was like wow, that's strange... I assumed it must have been a bad batch. So I got another box, and the same thing happened. I think when Kellogg added the protein to the cereal it messed it up. I don't eat cereal for protein. It's for the carbs my friends, and that I used to enjoy this cereal till they basically ruined it. I WON'T BE BUYING SPECIAL K ORIGINAL AGAIN. Bye bye!

Rock-Like Pieces

I can't eat this anymore. It used to be my favorite cereal, but for the past few months there have been hard, rock-like pieces that hurt my teeth! It's like the quality control has gone downhill.

Original Special K - higher protein and less sugar

I love the original and buy it all the time although it's getting harder to find. I want a cereal high in protein with less added sugar and the original Special K has been my go-to for decades. Please make it more available. Your specialty flavors are too sweet and lower in protein.
